Our assessment offer activities include mountain biking, climbing, rafting, bushcraft, kayaking, National Trust site visits, museum trips and educational excursions.
Why is outdoor learning so effective in trauma therapy?
Outdoor activities and nature-based interventions have been recognised for their therapeutic benefits in trauma recovery. They provide sensory stimulation, promote relaxation, enhance self-regulation, and help build a connection with the natural world.
Our adventure programme has been designed to harmonise with a young person’s abilities, aspirations and feelings and allow them to enjoy new and fun experiences they might never have encountered before.
